About Sylvia Hill

Sylvia Hill is a visual artist based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.

She is a multi-disciplinary artist who generally works in paint, print and textiles. Her work revolves around themes such as nature, childhood, memories and dreams. Her work is almost always informed by her surroundings – be that rural (childhood) or urban (adulthood). This work can be said to be autobiographical but covers universal themes.

Sylvia works in oils on board or canvas and every piece for her is an exploration of colour.
